EPB Certification Procedure
Step 1
Make an appointment with your certifier
Book your visit in just a few clicks through our online form, by phone or by email.
Step 2
Prepare your documents (key step!)
In order to ensure a certificate as accurate as possible, it is essential to provide as many documents as possible:
📌 Building layout (if available)
📌 Proof of insulation (invoices, quotes, certificates…)
📌 Information about the windows (installation date, type of windows...)
📌 Technical data sheet of the boiler (year, efficiency…)
Many factors influencing the energy performance score (EPB) are not visible during the visit (hidden insulation, year of window replacement, etc.). The more information you provide us, the more your certificate will reflect the reality of your property, and the better your EPB score will be.

Step 3
Visit of the certifier
On the day of the appointment, we take an accurate inventory of your property:
✅ Taking measurements
✅ Checking heating and ventilation equipment
✅ Analysis of construction materials
✅ On-site photos and observations
Average duration: about 1 hour.
Step 4
Issuance of the certificate
After the visit:
🔹 The certifier encodes the data and calculates the energy score
🔹 You receive a draft of the certificate for validation
🔹 Once approved, we finalize and upload the official certificate on the Brussels Environment platformt
📩 You will receive your finalized certificate within 24 hours.
